Manage Galvix Notifications

To help you keep your Galvix account up to date and ensure we can prepare and file accurate returns for you, we send timely notifications. These notifications appear both inside the Galvix application and via email, so you always know where we need your attention.

In-App Notification


The in-app notifications menu is your central hub for all updates from Galvix. When there’s something that needs your attention, a red dot will appear on the bell icon in the top-right corner of the Galvix application.


To Access In-App Notifications

  1. In your Galvix account, click the bell icon in the top-right corner of your screen.
  2. You’ll see a list of notifications under your Notifications Inbox.
  3. Click on a notification to open the related task or message.

Actions You Can Take

Each notification allows you to:

  • Click the action button to navigate directly to the relevant section of the app.
  • Mark as read/unread to manage visibility.
  • Snooze the notification to review it later.
  • Archive the notification.

To view archived notifications:

  • Click the Inbox dropdown and switch to Archived.
  • You can unarchive a message by clicking the Undo icon next to it.

Email Notifications


If you have email notifications enabled, Galvix will send you an email when an action is required. These emails include:

  • A summary of the notification or required action.
  • Clear instructions on what to do.
  • A link that takes you directly to the appropriate part of the app.


Managing Notification Preferences


You can choose how and where you receive notifications -via the app, email, both, or neither.


Steps to Manage Your Notification Settings

  1. From your Galvix account, click the bell icon in the top-right corner.
  2. Click the Settings icon in the Notifications panel.
  3. You can:
    • Adjust Global Preferences to apply changes to all notifications.
    • Configure preferences individually for each type of notification.


Notification Toggles

By default, all notifications are turned on for both app and email. To disable a notification, toggle off the respective option.

You can independently control settings for:

    • In-app notifications
    • Email notifications

Once saved, Galvix will respect your preferences and notify you based on your selected settings.
