Adding Your Business Information
Now let's add your business information to support important tasks for Galvix, like registering in new states, setting up your e-filing account, and filing tax returns. Keeping this information accurate is key to a smooth compliance process. Again, this is only going to take a few minutes. Let's go!
In this guide, we cover:
Adding Business Information
- To add your business details, go to Settings → Business Information and click on Add Business Information.
- This will open up a form prompting you to enter your business information:
- Legal Business Name
- DBA (Doing Business As) (if your business operates under a different name- optional)
- Entity Type (select one):
- C Corporation
- S Corporation
- Limited Liability Corporation (LLC)
- Partnership
- Sole Proprietorship
- FEIN (Federal Employer Identification Number) - Required for:
- C Corporation
- S Corporation
- Limited Liability Corporation (LLC)
- Partnership
- SSN (Social Security Number) - Required for:
- Sole Proprietorship
- Incorporation State
- Business Address
- Click Save once you have entered the information to update.
Updating Business Information
You can update your previously saved business details by navigating to Settings → Business Information.
To make updates, click Edit Business Information. In the form that appears, you can modify:
- Legal Business Name
- DBA (Doing Business As)
- Entity Type
- FEIN/SSN (depending on your entity type)
- Incorporation State
- Business Address
Click Save to apply your changes.
